Hello Indivisibles,
This was a rough week for our members– some of us experienced revolting displays of hate within our communities. We know that these actions are being fueled by the Nazi regime upon us, and we will not stand for it. Indivisible Montgomery County PA & Friends, however, is resilient and will not tolerate disgusting acts of cowardice. We’d like to thank you all for being a supportive community, ready to fight back in love and solidarity. We are grateful to have your voices unifying to protect the beautiful people that make us unique. In the words of Woody Guthrie, and thanks to Indivisible Dan for reminding us, “All you fascists bound to lose.”
📌Overall Update📌
Thank you to everyone who attended last Saturday’s Unite and Resist International Women’s Day rally and march in Norristown. We teamed up with Community for Change to ensure that our voices are heard for women’s rights within ALL communities. We will not back down from the attacks that will strip away our safety and rights! (see photos below)
We welcomed state senator, Katie Muth to our March meeting. She addressed our members by highlighting important topics to keep a close watch on and answering pertinent questions from our group. Thank you, Katie! (see photo below)
Fetterman and McCormick are missing in action. Has anyone seen them?! Indivisible leaders are planning an absentee town hall to hold our elected officials accountable. While our senators are hiding, we may attract some more willing high-profile guests. Are you interested in helping us plan this action? Email IMCPANF@gmail.com
Postcards of Protest– On March 15th, we will mail Donald Trump a postcard that publicly expresses our opposition to him. In vast numbers, from all corners of the world, we will overwhelm the man with his unpopularity and failure. Mail to: President (for now) Trump (or whatever term of endearment you'd like) 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington DC, 20500

IMCPANF To-Do List:
We must stay focused on taking back the House in the special elections! The Republicans will soon only have 217 House members to the Democrats’ 215. That means if Democrats win all three special elections, this year, they will have a House majority and the ability to thwart much of Trump’s agenda. TO DO:
Research Gay Valimont of Florida. Phone bank for Gay. Donate to Gay.
Research Joshua Weil of Florida. Phone bank for Joshua. Donate to Joshua.
Research Blake Gendebien of New York. Phone bank for Blake. Donate to Blake.
All hands must be on deck to STOP THE SAVE ACT which will disenfranchise millions of people. The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act would require all American citizens registering to vote or updating their registration information to present documentary proof of citizenship in person. For the vast majority of Americans, this would be a passport or birth certificate. Not the Real ID.
End online and mail-in voter registration.
Government-issued driver’s licenses—including REAL IDs—as well as military or tribal IDs do not satisfy the bill’s requirements.
The legislation would invert the responsibility to verify a person’s eligibility and citizenship status from election officials and the government onto every single American citizen, making citizens convince the government that they’re eligible to exercise their right to vote.
The SAVE Act would change the way all citizens register to vote upon enactment. It would upend online voter registration, make it impossible to mail in a registration application, and eliminate voter registration drives.
Send a letter to TELL CONGRESS TO STOP THE SAVE ACT:
Phone banking, we must get the word out about what the SAVE Act is really about so join in and make some calls. I know it’s uncomfortable, but it must be done.
Why you should phonebank:
Supportive: We provide everything you need—training, scripts, and support.
Powerful: Congress reports being flooded with calls—let's keep up the pressure.
Engagement: These complex issues require personal connection with other Americans.
Community: You're not alone. Our national network of volunteers are all working together on common goals.
Indivisible National Calls to Action To-Do List:
CALL NOW: Tell your Republican Senator You Don’t Want To Pay The Price For Their Billionaire Tax Breaks
Senate Republicans are trying to ram through the Trump Tax Scam, their tax plan that sells out everyday Americans to help billionaires like Elon Musk get even richer. They’re using budget reconciliation—a wonky process that would allow them to pass legislation with only Republican votes—to ram through their top priorities: giving the ultra-wealthy trillions of dollars in tax breaks and expecting the rest of us to foot the bill.
Make them own the coup.
Trump and Musk are trying to bulldoze every check on their power, but Congress still has the ability to fight back—if we make them. House Democrats need to go all-in to use their leverage and every procedural tool that's available to fight back, and Republicans need to feel the heat for enabling the Trump-Musk coup and cutting working people’s health care and food assistance to give massive tax breaks to billionaires.
Make your members of Congress answer for their betrayal. Call them out in public, at town halls, in their district offices, and on their phone lines. Demand to know: Why are they slashing Medicaid and SNAP for working families just to hand massive tax cuts to billionaires? No hiding. No spin.
Show up, online and in person. Drag their complicity into the light—blast them on social media, flood local news with letters and op-eds, take action in their districts. Let them know that we are watching.
Check out Indivisible’s Musk or Us March Recess Toolkit
